- Arguably one of the most Iconic Canadian designs – the Winnipeg chair designed and Manufactured by Architect James Donahue of Winnepeg Manitoba and some of his Architect students – produced in the late 40′s, early 50′s – made of bent fir plywood/metal rod legs and 4″foam upholstered. Which came first the Winnipeg Chair or George Nelson’s super iconic Coconut chair – hmm the jury is still out!! – We took this one home, but if you have one you would like to sell, give us a buzz, we would be very interested to talk to you!!!
