- 1940s Machine Age-style Denoyer Geppert of Chicago Military or Activity Globe composed of a spun metal blue orb with black slated land masses outlined in yellow. These globes were used by the military and NASA, in addition to serving as geographical learning tools for classrooms (hence the lack of identifying information on the land masses). They were intended to be written on using chalk – this unique globe is in really nice vintage condition wear appropriate for it’s age – a fantastic price -WOW (SOLD)
